MiSide Zero

MiSide Zero is a fan-made prequel game that explores the MiSide universe approximately one year before the events of the original game. Developed by Voidway Games (creators Kojo and Nick), this ambitious project reimagines the world of MiSide through the eyes of a new protagonist known as "Zero" — the mysterious blonde character from the "Beyond the World" content.

Unlike traditional horror games that throw players into chaos immediately, MiSide Zero takes a different approach. The current Alpha build offers a more peaceful, exploratory experience that focuses on character interactions, dialogue, and atmosphere. Think of it as experiencing the calm before the storm — a chance to know the world and its inhabitants before darkness descends.

It's important to note that MiSide Zero is an independent fan project and is NOT affiliated with AIHASTO or IndieArk, the creators and publishers of the original MiSide. The development team has been transparent about this from the start, creating something that honors the source material while telling its own unique story.

At the center of MiSide Zero is the protagonist Zero — the mysterious blonde character that MiSide fans recognized from supplementary content. In this prequel, Zero serves as a fresh pair of eyes through which players explore the simulation and interact with its inhabitants.

The game features multiple Mita variants, each with their own distinct personality and role in the story. Kind Mita, the gentle and helpful version, was the first to be fully implemented. Players can also encounter Cappie (Cap Mita), the energetic music-loving variant who wears a distinctive cap, as well as Short Haired Mita and others planned for future updates.

Each Mita variant brings unique interactions and activities to the experience. According to the development team, every character will eventually have their own themed minigame — from dancing games with Cappie to card games with Kind Mita. These activities provide engaging breaks while deepening your connection to each character.
